The DuPage County Continuum of Care (CoC) will host a Landlord Engagement and Resource Fair on October 7th from 9 – 11 am at the American Legion Post 76, 570 S. Gary Avenue Carol Stream IL 60188. The purpose of the fair is to connect landlords with housing programs, highlighting the benefits of partnering with local agencies who can provide rental assistance funding and clients who might be eligible tenants.
Representatives from local and federal organizations will be available to share information on their programs and answer questions. In addition, current landlords will share their experiences and the advantages of working with these programs.
Key partners include the Catholic Charities/Diocese of Joliet, CHAD, People’s Resource Center, Hines VA, DuPage Pads, the DuPage Veterans Assistance Commission, Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, DuPage County Continuum of Care, along with other local service providers.
